School & Regulation

GENERAL

1. ALL students MUST report to school on the first day of the term.
2. ALL students MUST be in school by 7:00 am and leave at 5.00 pm.
3. NO student is supposed to leave the classroom/compound without permission from the teachers. Otherwise he will be heavily punished.
4. No movement during classes.
5. If a student misses classes for a minimum of 25% attendance in a term he will not sit for Exams which lead to de-registration.
6. School uniforms MUST be smartly worn at all times including official activities inside and outside the school. School uniforms includes:
   • a pair of BLACK polishable leather laced shoes,
   • a pair of Chocolate brown long trousers,
   • a short sleeved white shirt (budged) a pair of brown socks,
   • a Black leather belt approximately 2 cm wide and brown pullover (optional). Anything outside this MUST not be worn; otherwise it will be confiscated and student will be denied admission.
7. Cheating in examination is a serious offence which may lead to expulsion / cancellation of all the results.
8. Absenteeism and sneaking out of school leads to de-registration. Absenteeism MUST be explained by a guardian / parent accompanying him to school on reporting day.
9. All students MUST speak in ENGLISH at all times in the school compound and when out on school functions

DAILY ROUTINE

1. A student of this school shall observe adoringly, the school’s daily routine punctuality MUST be observed at all times. School programme starts at 7:20 am, break at 12.30 pm for lunch, report back at 1:30 pm and ends at 5:00 pm. Permission out MUST be explained by a written document.
2. Sneaking out of school compound is not allowed and any student caught will be expelled.
3. Curriculum and co-curriculum activities are compulsory for all students.
4. Have all the necessities for effective learning at all times.

DRESSING

1. A student of this school MUST be in proper and neat school uniforms at all times.
2. No open shoes and T–shirts.
3. Not keep beards and moustache.
4. Keep his hair short (levelled) and well combed.
5. Contrary to 1, 2 and 3 above will be refused admission and sent back home immediately.

CONDUCT

1. A student of this school is expected to be Polite, Helpful, Obedient and Respectful to teachers, prefects, visitors and support staff and to each other, otherwise will severely be punished.
2. Obscenity in word or act, noise makers’ insubordination or such other acts of misconduct is not allowed.
3. Drug taking, stealing, fighting and bulling are considered ANTI-TONONOKA and leads to de-registration.
4. A student MUST always have up to date notes, contrary to this a severe action will be taken against him, including removal from school

PROPERTY

1. A student of this school should be responsible for the safe custody of his belongings and preserve the school’s property; if found damaging school property will pay for if immediately
2. One is not allowed to bring valuable items such as cell phone, radios, and vehicles etc., otherwise they will be confiscated and may lead to expulsion.

ENVIRONMENT

1. It is the responsibility of the student to keep the school environment clean at all times.
2. All waste should be deposited in the right place; the contrary will lead to cleaning the whole compound.
